In this position you will be a key member of a small marketing team, responsible for assisting the Project Manager, Director of Marketing and marketing team members with a wide range of administrative responsibilities and tasks, including but not limited to Budget reporting, Analytics reporting, scheduling, task planning, project coordination support, marketing merchandise and print material inventory management, event planning and more.

You have a passion for design and communication and everything marketing related.


BCCA is currently allowing employees to work from home or at our main office in Victoria, or in a hybrid situation.

We will work with you to ascertain your needs.


About the Opportunity
Reports to the Project Manager of Marketing and will support the entire Marketing team.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide direct support to the Project Manager of Marketing, and the Director of Marketing
  • Manage website form inquiries and submissions, and quality control checks
  • Maintain correspondence templates
  • Attend recurring program meetings and take notes as needed, on a regular basis
  • Help maintain team project management software (FLOW), add new tasks, archive completed tasks
  • Proofread marketing material as needed
  • Manage invoice and expense reporting, processing
  • Manage production schedules, inventory storage, distribution, and ordering
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to Marketing projects while working independently and within a team
  • Participate in team events and meetings
  • Perform other duties as needed and directed by leadership and team

Your skills

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will have/bring:

  • Post-secondary education (preferably with a focus on marketing and/or business administration)
  • Marketing experience
  • Office administration experience
  • Project management experience, and project management software experience
  • Versatile skills required to adapt to a variety of tasks
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Suite would be an asset
  • Experienced in learning and using cloudbased software such as SurveyMonkey, WordPress, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Zoom, Loomly, Hubspot
