About the Opportunity
Reports to the Program Manager, under the functional supervision of the Data Coordinator.
As an administrative assistant, you will:
- Provide direct administrative support to the Data Coordinator
- Maintain correspondence templates
- Confirm and verify client eligibility for the IN program
- Monitor database and client files to report anomalies for the Data Coordinator to follow up
- Serve as a backup for data entry work in the government database as required
- Serve as a backup for client registrations as required
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to IN projects working independently and within a team
- Participate in team events and meetings
- Perform other duties as needed and directed by leadership and team
You will be joining a team with multi-industry and immigration experience who have built successful careers in Canada and are committed to providing practical advice to make the process easier for incoming professionals.

- Post-secondary education
- Office administration experience

Location
Join our team on a
hybrid or remote work model from anywhere in BC.
The head office for the BC Construction Association is Victoria, BC with staff and programs operating out of several regional construction association offices across the province.
The BCCA-Integrating Newcomers team currently works remotely, serving clients who are planning on landing and living in any location across Canada.
Terms of employment

This is a part-time position (25 hours per week, 5h a day, start and end times are flexible) for a 1 year term
:
- $23.54 an hour to start, increasing to $25.11 at successful completion of probation after 3 months.
- Extended health benefits and employer matched RRSP are available upon satisfactory completion of a probationary period
- Opportunity to work in a flexible hybrid or remote work model
- Start date is flexible
