Description

As an VFX Artist at Alpha Channel Inc., you'll be responsible for adding that critical visual FX layer to bring our games to life.

We're looking for someone with range and creativity, able to make any kind of effect-from spectacular, brain-melting explosions to smaller elements like smoke from exhaust pipes

Responsibilities Include:

Create stunning visual effects while maintaining a consistent look across the project
Collaborate with other artists and departments to achieve the desired look of effects
Quickly prototype and iterate; give constructive feedback where necessary and make suggestions for improvement
Work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and exhibit strong investigative and problemsolving skills
Participate in art reviews and suggest creative ideas and solutions
Work with the production artists, designers and developers to ensure that VFX assets are game ready

Qualifications

Superior eye for lighting, value, color, details, and the ability to use them in creating beautiful visual effects
Selfmotivated, excellent interpersonal skills, and able to work well within a team
Experience with particle systems using Unreal Cascade or Niagara
Open to direction, criticism and able to accept change
3+ year's experience

Nice To Have

Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or
Basic scripting knowledge
Basic Lighting skills
JIRA Experience
