    Description

    Job Title: Logistics Manager

    Location: Barrie, Ontario

    Shift Time: 8:00am to 4:30pm

    Terms: Permanent Full-Time

    Salary: To Be Discussed

    Reports To: President / Leadership Team

    Job Purpose:

    To oversee and expand e-commerce opportunities related to warehousing, transportation, client transitioning, and procurement for clients.

    Providing pricing for customers, participating in customer talks, and establishing annual GRI's. Finding and matching vendors to meet customer demands.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage logistic processes for freight and vendor management
    • Monitor transportation metrics
    • Analyze and report logistics KPIs
    • Strategically plan logistics to achieve company goals
    • Optimize warehousing procedures for efficiency
    • Manage carrier implementations and agreements
    • Handle e-commerce processes with senior leadership
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
    • Oversee technology implementations
    • Assist in onboarding new clients
    • Optimize operations and enhance customer experience
    • Organize staff training and reviews

    Professional & Educational Background:

    • 10-15 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and 3PL
    • Degree in related field required
    • E-commerce and negotiation experience required
    • SCMP designation or in SCM educational program is an asset
    • Lean & Six Sigma certifications considered as asset
