Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is a key role that will be support corporate human resources by overseeing the development and maintenance of job descriptions, provide administrative oversight of the annual employee performance review process and provide support to the employee recognition programs.
Within the scope of this position, the HR Coordinator takes on a key role to work closely with other departments and senior management to ensure that job descriptions accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities of employees and the organization's mission, vision, and values are reflected in all job descriptions.

Core OutcomesCreate repository of job descriptions. Develop annual review and approval schedule for job descriptions. Develop and update or revise job descriptions based on operational needs.
Work closely with hiring managers, leadership and human resources to ensure consistency and clarity in job descriptions across the organization.
Oversee the administration of performance reviews, including:
Data input in UKG;
annual reminders to management to complete performance appraisal reviews and.
Input of data from performance reviews into.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of business processes. Provide administrative support to employee recognition program (employee length of service awards and annual employee recognition events). Provide administrative support to other HR related projects.
Qualifications:
Education and Experiences
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration with two to five years of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workday or other HR System.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Knowledgeable in document management processes.
- Experience within an organization of significant size, complexity and unionization an asset.
- Experience with unionized and nonunionized employee groups is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Knowledge of BC and Alberta employment standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills.
- Selfdirected and organized with effective time management skills.
- Ability to multitask while effectively managing competing demands.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Team player with the ability to deliver quality customer service to all levels within the organization.
- Strong time management skills in order to deal with multiple time sensitive issues and the ability to work in a lean, fastpaced, dynamic work environment.
