Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Responds to common questions using a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document
  • Supports team members in responding to information requests generated from digital recruitment activities.
  • Supports social and digital media communications through special projects and additional responsibilities; i.e. participation in virtual college fairs (text chat with potential students), writing or translating social media communications; producing content for social media (livestreams, testimonial interviews)

Qualifications/Experience

  • Three (3) year diploma/degree in communications, business or media or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in high volume customer service or administrative support, preferably in a student service environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong multitasking ability
  • Ability towork effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Detailoriented and a fast learner
  • Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom)
  • Demonstrated cross culture customer service/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated fluency in writing and speaking in English. Other languages are an asset.
  • Experience in a communications role is an asset
  • Social and digital media work experience is an asset


Proof of credentials or equivalencies from accredited regional or federal post secondary institutions and/or their foreign equivalents will be required at the time of job offer.
