    Description

    About the Role

    In this position, you will be accountable for overseeing and evaluating the profit and loss (P&L) of our vendor line. Your key tasks will involve forecasting, examining inventory, and managing vendor partnerships. It will be essential to comprehend and align with the needs and strategic aims of vendors, as well as analyzing market information to detect trends and business expansion possibilities.

    This role is specifically concentrated on leading the company's Smart Home project, predominantly in the retail sector. You'll be closely cooperating with sales, attracting new vendors, and enhancing our offerings and competencies in this field.

    What You'll Do:

    • Monitor and assess P&L for vendor line, providing suggestions for enhancement by consistently evaluating financial performance.
    • Strive to meet or surpass monthly revenue goals, Net Gross Margin %, and Net Gross Margin dollars.
    • Identify operational enhancements and revenue expansion potential, offering pertinent suggestions.
    • Prepare and evaluate forecasts and inventory, creating precise forecasts for vendor products or services.
    • Serve as an operational escalation point for vendor lines, proactively identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
    • Collaborate with sales team members to formulate effective approaches for promoting vendor products.
    • Support with customer queries, pricing, and negotiations related to vendor offerings.
    • Establish and sustain relationships with vendors at an intermediate level, negotiating terms, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive collaborations.
    • Analyze market data to spot trends and opportunities, developing reports and presentations based on data-driven insights.

    What We're Looking For

    • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong data entry abilities.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in intricate issue resolution, critical thinking, and decision-making.
    • Keen attention to detail with precision and efficiency.
    • Skills in creating and delivering formal presentations.
    • Effective communication and teamwork with individuals across diverse backgrounds.
    • Engage proficiently with higher management levels (managers & above).
    • Cultivate robust, efficient working relationships with others.
    • Safeguard confidentiality of sensitive data.
    • Efficiently manage multiple tasks and operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
    • Excel in demanding settings, handling hefty workloads and deadlines effectively.
    • Quick learner/adaptor to novel systems and technologies.
