Our Parts department is expanding and we are looking to hire a Parts Delivery Driver at our Kitchener location.


Day Shift:
Monday to Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver Parts to external and internal customer locations in a timely and safe manner; includes in and out of town deliveries in the greater Toronto, Pickering, London and surrounding areas
  • Pick up parts at supplier locations includes in and out of town deliveries in the greater Toronto, Pickering, London, and surrounding areas
  • Ensure loads are secure at all times
  • Maintain parts delivery truck to company standards with regular cleanings this includes daily disinfecting worksurfaces at the end of each day with supplied wipes and disinfect. Disinfect cab of delivery truck end of day Friday with the "Purell" wand at your home location.
  • Complete vehicle inspection reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and other daily reports
  • Safely operating the company vehicle while adhering to all safety requirements, obeying traffic laws, and driving undistracted
  • Warehouse support duties as assigned, which may include assisting customers, cycle counts, accurately checking in stock orders and stocking shelves, pulling orders, and keeping the warehouse clean
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum Grade 12 education, or combination of education and experience accepted
  • Oneyear previous experience working with parts delivery, & inventory support would be an asset
  • Valid Class G license, with a clean driving record, must be willing to provide drivers' abstract upon hire
  • Able to lift heavy loads
  • Safe operation of a forklift
  • Strong customer service skills, always maintaining professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
  • Commitment to health & safety of self and team members
  • Good organizational skills to maintain inventory
  • Able to communicate clearly and receive and understand directions
  • Be willing and able to work in a loud environment
  • Be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather extremes
  • Computer skills for order entry, record keeping
