    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Director of Operations to join our team!

    The Director of Operations will report directly to the Vice President and collaborate with executives at all levels to provide leadership and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees in order to meet the company's goals.

    • Developing the communication strategy and governance in partnership with senior leadership and company operations.
    • Evaluating potential risks and proposing solutions by establishing internal procedures aligned with operational needs.
    • Participating in operational projects development and ensuring their progress.
    • Promoting workplace health and safety and fostering a corporate culture focused on customer service.
    • Setting operational standards, overseeing performance goal achievement, and enforcing sector-specific procedures, methods, and quality standards.
    • Representing the organization to the public, key stakeholders, and business partners.
    • Post-secondary education in engineering or operations management. A University degree in a related field is a plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in operations and plant management within large industrial companies.
    • Thorough knowledge of operations planning, asset maintenance, procurement, facilities management, and operations.
    • Strategic thinking ability to analyze and resolve problems at a strategic and functional level.
    • Proven track record of building high-performance teams and fostering unity.
    • Comprehensive understanding of materials management and production scheduling.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
