About Courtney Kenny :

I have been working as a Flight Attendant in Canada for nearly twelve years.

I have a passion for delivering a superior level of service to all of my guests onboard each of my flights. I desire to bring back the glamour and magic that passengers deserve to experience, regardless of cabin. Meeting to new people each flight gives me such an exciting opportunity to grow as a person and Flight Attendant. I also get to make life long friends and leave a lasting impression on each onboard guest.

The dedication to my job is unmatched as I am constantly working on improving on how I can reach higher to elevate the customer experience. I enjoy working with a new team each day as they also help me grow as a Flight Attendant and person. Each crew member can teach me something new about myself and the world, which is a very special experience that I am lucky to have.

I pride myself on ensuring aviation safety and security is always in the forefront. I keep myself up to date with the latest notifications and I constantly review current safety procedures. Aviation is very special to my heart and I want every person I meet on board the aircraft, whether it be fellow crew or guests, to know that I will ensure they are all taken care of and always welcomed in the skies.

Experience

I started as a Flight Attendant at Sunwing Airlines in November of 2011. After two years I progressed to the role of onboard Customer Safety Manager, a role I would exclusively work until my departure in 2017. I worked mainly vacation destination routes, The Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, etc. I operated out of several of Sunwing's bases including one year in Winnipeg. I was responsible for ensuring passenger safety was always the top priority while ensuring all passengers onboard were treated to a comfortable beginning or end to their journey. I was responsible for leading and being apart of a team to ensure the end goal of passenger safety and satisfaction were always being met or exceeded. Assisting passengers through all phases of flight including refreshment services, Duty Free or if necessary First Aid.

Yearning to expand my stamp collection in my passport, I joined Air Canada Rouge in January of 2017. After three months at the company I was assigned to be flight Service Director when I was designated most senior on the flight manifest. Like my previous airline I was responsible for working as a team to provide each passenger with a high level of customer comfort without sacrificing safety protocols or company policies. Air Canada Rouge also introduced me to my first experience working in a First Class cabin. I am held to a higher standard of customer care and satisfaction while serving some of Air Canada's most elite status level or VIP passengers. Extra details such as preparing meals/trays, ensuring concierge services and ensuring a more intimate and private cabin.
Regardless of which cabin I am working, my priority is ensuring each passenger is complying with Transport Canada regulations and that my crew and I enforce said regulations. I lead my team of Flight Attendants with encouragement and guidance throughout the flight to ensure each passenger has a comfortable experience through our onboard services and overall professionalism.

Education

I completed my high school diploma in June of 2006.
I have also been attending various French Colleges since 2019 to obtain my fluency in the language.
