    The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.53.

    Site Description: Halifax Stanfield is a key full-service airport in Atlantic Canada, providing direct access to various markets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, and Asia. It offers Canada Customs services around the clock, seven days a week, and features U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities, unique in Atlantic Canada. This airport significantly contributes to the provincial economy, generating $3.8 billion annually (pre-pandemic). In 2020, Halifax Stanfield served 995,000 passengers and processed nearly 33,000 metric tonnes of cargo.

    Job Description:
    A Pass Control Office Administrator oversees security and administrative tasks at the Airport Pass Control Office, including RAIC application reviews, pass control, fingerprinting, and providing customer service to the public and airport community. This role also supports the Security Office Assistant with duties like baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass sign-out. The Pass Control Office Administrator reports directly to the Security Services Manager and works Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

    • Background in administration or equivalent experience
    • Proficiency in computer usage
    • Ability to multitask
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Capability to perform under pressure

    If chosen for this position, you must meet the following requirements to work at this site:

    • Valid RAIC issued by Transport Canada
    • Security License from the NS Department Of Justice
    • Completion of additional online courses as necessary
