What You'll Do:
As the Manager, Corporate Accounting you will oversee all internal accounting and reporting requirements.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in process improvement projects and proactive problem-solving while working closely with the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting as well as the broader Northland organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coordination during the monthly and quarterly close processes.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly internal management reporting and variance analysis.
  • Assist Senior Manager in preparing the annual consolidated budget.
  • Liaise with the business development team to align the project costs and report results and analysis to executive management.
  • Oversee the segmented and global intercompany reconciliations.
  • Actively contribute and participate in the cloudbased Accounting system enhancements and upgrades to enhance team productivity.

  • Diligent: You have solid attention to detail, and you follow up with others where needed to ensure outstanding information or actions are complete. You are handson and will roll up your sleeves to complete deliverables within the required deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of progressively senior experience or a similar managerial role. CPA designation is required.
  • Previous internal or financial audit experience and public entity reporting experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience leading and coaching teams and working directly with senior management.
