What you'll do:

Own the monthly financial statement reporting process in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (US GAAP). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
Monitor and analyze business KPIs to support decisionmaking, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve the company's financial performance.
Support the FP&A team for monthly forecasting and investor reporting.
Manage the company's cash position. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
Supervise, coach and continue to build & hire on the accounting team.
Lead the annual income tax returns with external tax accountants.
Lead the yearend financial audit with external auditors.
Assess and manage financial risks. Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems such as an invoicing and revenue recognition system.

About you:

At least 5 years in an accounting environment.
Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS).
Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
Selfstarter that is comfortable working with mínimal oversight and tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform well in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
English: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus points if you have experience with Maxio (SaaSOptics)
