Job Summary


Canadian Health Solutions has an employment opportunity for an organized healthcare provider who will work as our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinic Coordinator.


CHS Nexstim Neuronavigated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (NrTMS) is a highly effective, non invasive, drug free option, device-based for treatment of depression.

CHS is the exclusive provider of Nexstim Neuronavigated rTMS in Canada and operates 3 clinics in Saint John, Moncton and Halifax.

Our CHS Nexstim rTMS programs are set up so that referred clients can receive treatment depending on their needs.

We offer state of the art Nexstim Neuronavigated SmartFocus TMS depression therapy equipment, trained technologists, MRI imaging clinics, as well as an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, occupational medicine, and other specialists to support the program.


Responsibilities:


  • Administer TMS treatment sessions according to our protocols provided by the team of mental health clinical professionals ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Coordinate TMS operations and staff in our multiple healthcare treatment clinics, including responding to inquiries, coordinate communications and delivery to patients including intake, scheduling.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of TMS clinic operations, training of new staff, reference and represent information in meetings and discussions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical and other guidelines including any regulatory requirements amongst TMS technicians.
  • Lead and implement operational changes that will enhance and improve clinic operations at our multiple treatment sites.
  • Relate instructions to patients relative to requirements for therapy administration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, patients' family members other staff and physicians.
  • Document and communicate pertinent information to other team members.
  • Complete billing, invoicing and patient scheduling activities.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols, standards and procedures are followed
  • Maintain equipment and clinic treatment rooms to standard and ensure adequate inventory of supplies and materials in the examination areas necessary for the performance of treatment. Inform manager when inventory is needed.
  • May substitute for administrative duties as required, specifically registration of clients

  • Work cooperatively to accomplish additional tasks as necessary to achieve the Employer's clinical and business objectives.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a healthcare related field.
  • Strong analytical ability and critical thinking is necessary.
  • Willingness to learn how to administer TMS treatments and assume a highlevel responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and deal effectively with clients and their families, coworkers, physicians, other health care staff, and staff of external agencies.
  • Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression considered an asset.
  • High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients.
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuing education and willing to participate in ongoing education to upgrade knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
  • CPR certification considered an asset.
