RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

General Duties

Participate in the design and execution of laboratory projects and experiments, literature reviews, analyzing and interpreting research data
Troubleshoot, correct and adapt published methodologies
Actively assist in the preparation and submission of funding grants, intellectual properties and patents contributing to writing, editing, formatting and integrating edits from research team members.
Pays attention to detail,
Ability to multitask
Takes initiative and is resourceful,
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.

Master's Degree

Field of Study:
Mechanical/Electrical/Robotics/Computer Science or other related fields
Minimum 1 year of experience

Other requirements:

Excellent English, spoken and written,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,

Status:
Temporary, full time

Pay Scale:
Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8h30am-4h30pm

Montreal General Hospital
