WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will play a pivotal role in driving the technological vision of Cambium.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's IT strategy and leading the IT Team in translating business needs into technology solutions.

You will ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of all IT infrastructure components.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1.


Infrastructure Management:


  • Maintain and upgrade the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services.

2.


Software and Applications:


  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address software requirements.
  • Manage the development of new and innovative software tools (internally and / or externally).

3.


Security and Compliance:


  • Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring the company's adherence to relevant regulations.

4.


User Support:


  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance the digital literacy of staff.

5.


Vendor Management:


  • Collaborate with external vendors to procure and maintain IT equipment and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with technology vendors to ensure costeffective solutions.

6.


Strategic Planning:


  • Collaborate with the VP of Business Admin, CEO, and external partners on the development of the company's IT strategy and roadmap.
  • Help identify opportunities for technology improvements and efficiencies that align with business goals.
  • Manages the IT budget to meet both operational and strategic needs.

7. Team Development and Leadership

  • Propose and implement an appropriate department structure, including internal and external resources.
  • Responsible for hiring, developing, and mentoring internal staff.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in an IT management role, preferably within a growing small to mediumsized business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate as part of a project team.
  • Good leadership and people management skills.
  • Innovative mindset with current and evolving knowledge in the field.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to interpret customer needs in a way that results in desired IT solutions.
  • Desire to succeed in a dynamic, progressive organization
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
