- Develop and execute strategies aimed at identifying new franchise opportunities in untapped markets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential locations with high growth potential for new franchises.
- Lead the sales process for new franchises from initial contact/application through to final sale, focusing heavily on new location development.
- Prepare and present sales presentations to prospective franchisees, clearly articulating the value proposition and business model.
- Lead the execution of the franchise qualification process; coordinate individual and group interviews; answer administration questions; coordinate training dates; coordinate attend in-person meetings with prospective franchisees at various franchise locations; serve as the primary liaison for franchisee candidates
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with franchise standards and regulations when establishing new locations.
- Facilitate the signing of contracts with new franchisees, ensuring clear communication of terms and expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions that may affect franchise expansion.
- Organize and participate in franchise expos, seminars, and other promotional events, both in person and virtually, to generate leads for new franchise locations.
- Work with external vendors and partners as required to develop and refine the marketing and lead generation strategy.
- Provide ongoing support to new franchisees during the setup process to ensure a smooth launch of new locations.
- Other duties are required.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end sales cycles.
- High degree of professionalism and an ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or professional certification in business administration, marketing, or real estate.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in franchise sales or business development.
- Direct experience in franchising and territory expansion is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with legal and financial aspects of franchising.

Franchise Sales Specialist – New Locations (Calgary, AB)
Oxford Learning is committed to helping children reach their highest potential. The Franchise Sales Specialist – New Locations is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing franchise sales opportunities with a specific focus on expanding into new geographic areas. This role demands a proactive approach in scouting potential markets, engaging prospective franchisees, and successfully facilitating the establishment of new franchise locations.
