    Description

    Welcome to Sensor Technology - Electronics Engineer Position

    We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team in Collingwood, Ontario. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be a key player in the design, development, and implementation of electronic systems and components. Your role will involve bringing innovative ideas to reality, ensuring top-notch quality and creativity from conceptualization to production. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, working alongside talented teams to deliver products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

    This position is based at our Collingwood location and offers immediate availability for the right candidate. You will work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.     About the Role:

    • Lead the design and development of electronic systems and components, from circuit design to prototyping
    • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of electronic components
    • Engage in the complete product lifecycle, offering technical support and driving continuous improvement
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic issues during development and post-production phases
    • Stay updated on emerging electronics trends to foster innovation within Sensor Technology
    • Document design processes, specifications, and project progress meticulously
    • Perform other necessary duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in circuit design with a successful project record
    • Proficiency in electronic design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD
    • Strong grasp of circuit theory and PCB design principles
    • Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and firmware integration
    • Financial management skills to operate within budget constraints
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively
    • Strong problem-solving skills, ethical conduct, and a positive work demeanor
    • Must be eligible for industry security clearance if required
    • Must hold a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
