The Policy and Planning team provides strategic guidance, advice, planning and reporting expertise to the FNHA executive and leadership teams.

Working with both internal and external partners and stakeholders, the team plays an essential role in the policy development, strategic analysis and performance measurement functions that supports organizational decision making and reporting.

This team leverages best practices to align planning cycles and products across the BC First Nations health-planning ecosystem.

About the role


As a Manager, Planning & Performance, you will provide leadership, strategic advice, and oversight to the development, review and implementation of strategic planning and reporting, performance measurement and project management functions and practices.

You will be responsible for the development of the FNHA Annual Report, quarterly reporting, mandate letters and performance measures. You will oversee the management of strategies and projects, supporting departmental and Regional planning and other activities as required. Additionally, you will oversee the tracking and reporting of FNHA's strategic and operational performance. The Manager provides support to Director of Planning and Performance and senior management.


About you

  • To be successful in this role you will have: _
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master degree is an asset
  • Significant recent, relevant and progressive experience in performance management, planning, and/or strategy management (usually acquired over a period of 68 years)
  • Experience in management or health management
  • Experience in working with First Nations
