Administrative Coordinator - Events


Salary:
$64,636 - $69,974 per year (pay range explained below)


Contract:
Permanent


Hours: 37.5 Hours, Monday - Friday (Core hours 9am - 3pm)

Location:
Sinclair or Park Royal - Fully in office.

Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.

About the role
As Administrative Coordinator - Events, you will - Provide administration, coordination, facilitation, and office management support.

You will, participate in the development and implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures essential for effective and efficient operations, as well as providing executive and administrative support.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be

  • Grade 12, including one year of postsecondary education in business or office administration, plus six months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Relevant, recent, and significant experience in an administrative capacity, including provisions of services to senior level staff processes.

You may have experience in;

  • Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
  • Experience developing and maintain administrative systems, processes and procedures

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.


As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
