    Job Description

    Important Note: This opportunity is for an 8-12 month 2024 Student placement starting in September 2024 and ending in April/August 2025. To qualify for this Student position, you must either:

    • Plan to return to school after April/August 2025; or
    • If you are graduating in April/August 2025, you must need the full 8-12 month work term to graduate successfully.

    Make sure you meet these requirements before applying - ineligible candidates will not be considered.

    What Does the Role Offer?

    RBC InvestEase provides online investment management services through a "robo-advisor" platform, offering clients professionally-managed portfolios of low-cost ETFs. As an intern, you will be involved in various aspects of the business, from operations and service delivery to product management. You will collaborate with Canadian Wealth Management Operations to ensure smooth client application and transaction processes, troubleshoot issues, and prepare key reports for senior management.

    This role allows you to engage with different business areas in a specialized team, providing you with the opportunity to shape the future of the business by exploring new avenues for growth and profitability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and handle the RBC InvestEase workbasket (new accounts, transfers, inquiries)
    • Ensure accurate account setup across systems
    • Create and share essential business reports
    • Participate in addressing queries
    • Collaborate with various teams to offer insights for strategic decisions and enhance client experience
    • Manage delegated tasks from the Senior Manager and Senior Management Team

    Requirements for Success:

    Must-Haves

    • Interest in the investment sector
    • Effective communication skills (English)
    • Customer service experience
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong teamwork and organizational abilities
    • Capability to work under pressure and on multiple projects

    Nice-to-Haves

    • Prior financial services experience
    • French language skills
