Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the opportunity to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in
VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for BC Pension Corporation.

You will be part of a collaborative team that operates in a fast-paced environment with ongoing multiple demands and shifting priorities.

As a member of the Employee Services Centre branch, you will play a key role in projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of new technology/tools and modernizing processes that will shape the future of our work.

With a passion for continuous improvement, you will leverage data and analytics to inform your plans and recommendations, strengthening overall quality and efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?:

Must have**- Completion of a post-secondary credential in human resources or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Three years of experience leading talent acquisition activities, programs, and initiatives, preferably in a union environment, that includes:
End to end recruitment services
Providing consultation and advice to hiring managers
HR and recruitment technology and social media

Nice
to
have

Experience recruiting for IT positions is preferred
Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred
