Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the opportunity to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in
VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.


As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for BC Pension Corporation.

You will be part of a collaborative team that operates in a fast-paced environment with ongoing multiple demands and shifting priorities.


As a member of the Employee Services Centre branch, you will play a key role in projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of new technology/tools and modernizing processes that will shape the future of our work.

With a passion for continuous improvement, you will leverage data and analytics to inform your plans and recommendations, strengthening overall quality and efficiency.

What do you need to succeed?:

Must have**- Completion of a post-secondary credential in human resources or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

  • Three years of experience leading talent acquisition activities, programs, and initiatives, preferably in a union environment, that includes:
  • End to end recruitment services
  • Providing consultation and advice to hiring managers
  • HR and recruitment technology and social media

Nice
to
have

  • Experience recruiting for IT positions is preferred
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred
