    The Black & McDonald Ottawa Region is growing and is seeking a Facility Coordinator This is an 18-month contract.

    Assisting the Contract Manager in maintaining property documentation such as budgets, site access, reporting, health and safety and payroll.

    Responsible for overseeing the creation of work orders, purchase orders and managing of invoices to ensure accurate allocation of costs.

    Overseeing preventative maintenance work orders through various online platforms, creating corrective work orders, and assisting with the scheduling of maintenance.

    Managing a subcontractor pool, continuously seeking to expand the pre-qualified subcontractors.
    Report on Key Result Areas and other Divisional requirements including tracking, analysing, and trending of costs.

    Assisting with minor project work including assisting the Project Manager by performing job showings with approved subcontractors, assisting with the RFQ process and award, coordination of awarded projects, completing project documentation and tracking of project costs / billing.

    Other administrative duties as required.
    Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.


    WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Proven work experience as a Property/Facility Coordinator or similar role.
    Experience managing subcontractors.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Must possess strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to communicate and interact with all levels of customers, employees, and management.
