Cumberland Paving and Contracting is part of Miller Paving Atlantic, based in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Cumberland Paving and Construction provides the public and private sectors with road construction, paving, road and structure rehabilitation, engineering construction, aggregate
- based materials, highway operations and maintenance services.

As a Concrete Finisher, You Will:

Direct placement of concrete
Level top surface of freshly poured concrete in the installation of curb and sidewalk according to grade and depth specifications
Work in a safe manner always adhering to all company safety policies
Operate power vibrator to compress concrete
Build formwork for concrete
Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged concrete
Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

Valid Class 5 driver's licence
Previous experience in road work and concrete paving and/or general construction is an asset
Proficiency in working with hand tools
Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour
Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Dependable and reliable
Ability to work well with others
Flexible to workdays/nights/weekends and out of town when required
Able to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced work environment
