Position Highlights

Our Customer Experience team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager, Research Services to join the

Customer, Stakeholder and Market Insights team on a permanent full-time basis.

making and strategy development.

Position Highlights

  • Manages the planning and provision of primary market research activities
  • Leads the development of adhoc qualitative/quantitative research on medium to largescale research initiatives to identify
insight gaps and support corporate strategies

  • Oversees the vendor management during the course of the project including procurement, evaluating proposals, selecting and
onboarding the chosen vendor, pricing negotiation, developing supplements and managing the vendor relationship and

deliverables

  • Supervises customer insight panel operations to provide decisionmakers insight to the attitudes, opinions, behaviors and
beliefs of ICBC customers on various topics

  • Manages the daytoday operations of the team, including the recruitment, development, coaching and performance
management of reporting staff

Position Requirements

Well-versed in designing both quantitative and qualitative research studies

  • Ability to lead and coach a team of experienced researchers to create an engaging and supportive work environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer research practices and proven success on executing multiphrase research programs
  • Knowledge of the principles, theories, standards and best practices for quantitative and qualitative market research, business
analytics, statistical modelling, and hypothesis testing

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, and relevant governing acts, legislations, regulations and public policy
  • Direct experience is an asset and is typically required for someone to perform this job competently.
