- Develop and manage the L&D strategy and roadmap, including all deliverables
- Project manage small learning initiatives, tracking tasks, timelines, and budgets
- Influence stakeholders and negotiate on learning deliverables
- Collaborate with various teams to understand business priorities and develop appropriate learning solutions
- Create high-quality learning solutions aligned with project needs and strategic goals
- Gain a deep understanding of the business and industry to better serve internal clients
- Work with managers to conduct training needs assessments and identify gaps
- Assess learning needs through surveys, interviews, and data review
- Collaborate with project members and executives to validate analysis
- Design effective learning solutions grounded in analysis and aligned with measurement metrics
- Stay updated on instructional design best practices and delivery methods
- Mentor Instructional Designers on developing solutions
- Facilitate learning sessions in person or virtually
- Support in documenting processes
- Ensure successful implementation, communication, and sustainment of learning
- Evaluate learning outcomes and impact
- Ensure learning transfer to the job is effective
- Identify and track business impact
- Conduct evaluations to enhance existing training programs
- Define KPIs for initiatives and report results
- Develop learning strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with leaders and experts to design solutions
- Provide feedback on learning developments and support content creation
- Assess and choose optimal delivery methods for learning programs
- Design and deliver various learning programs
- Build and strengthen relationships across the organization
- Demonstrate autonomy, organization, and self-starting abilities
- Experience in Agile and ADDIE methodologies
- Confident in presenting to all levels of the organization
- Proficient in software applications and eLearning tools
- Manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience in Equipment Finance is a plus
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Financial Services, ideally with Meridian
- 4 years in a training role with instructional design experience
- Adult Learning Certificate or Degree, or equivalent experience
- Post-secondary education

Description
This position will take charge of the entire learning development process and deliver top-notch learning solutions that are well-balanced in terms of budget, time, resources, and project scope. The solutions developed may be intricate and require a high level of collaboration with project teams, vendors, and internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will establish strong internal partnerships with stakeholders and subject matter experts. As a Senior Learning Partner, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Business Transformation and the Senior Manager of Learning to oversee learning solution requests. This collaboration will empower you to excel. Additionally, as a senior member in Learning & Development, this role will need to integrate implementation and change management expertise into all delivered solutions.
