As our Engineer, Renewable Gas, we need your out of the box thinking that will help us advance our low-carbon projects and initiatives.
Develop in-house technical and economic analysis to support business case proposals.Generate concepts that involve unique applications to support development and investment opportunities.
Work with our teams to cultivate business plans for various hydrogen related projects.
Oversee the day to day implementation of key hydrogen development initiatives.
Provide leadership to advance hydrogen delivery projects.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Professional Engineering designation is preferred.
Project management courses and certification will be considered an asset.
Marketing, business development, or commerce experience and certifications will be considered an asset.
Ability to understand and communicate commercial relationships and interpret and integrate complex technical and contract information will be considered an asset.
Sales and customer account/relationship management skills will be considered an asset.
Sound technical knowledge and understanding of energy systems engineering; knowledge of hydrogen and syngas production plant, processes, and operation considered an asset.
Knowledge of hydrogen infrastructure conveyance systems and engineering design an asset.
Knowledge of asset management, engineering and risk assessment tools an asset.
Knowledge of renewable fuels policy, regulation, marketplace and technologies an asset.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
