Production Associate - Rec/Med Pack Paris, ON | Full-Time

Reports to:
Production Supervisor
The Production Associate is primarily responsible for the day-to-day production, packaging and labeling of cannabis product. This position will, assemble, and package cannabis while adhering to strict organization policies and legislative regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Will be working closely with other team member associates as part of a production line.
Will be expected to follow the production schedule, completing tasks and meeting timelines.
Will ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures are completed in accordance with the applicable Standard Operational Procedures (SOP); this will include but is not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, tables, tools, moping and vacuuming.
Ensure all required controlled documents are completed and submitted to the appropriate designate.
Will adhere to all occupational health and safety regulations and Company policies.
Other duties as assigned.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS/ABILITIES

Experience / Education

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Experience working in a packaging and/or a production facility is considered an asset
Experience operating production, and packaging equipment is considered an asset
Experience working for a licensed cannabis producer is also considered an asset

Strong written & verbal communication skills with ability to comprehend detailed instructions
Strong motor skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively across all work groups
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team with little supervision
Selfmotivated, highly organized, and strong recordkeeping skills
High level of integrity and work ethic
High attention to detail
Flexible to work off shift hours
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Some lifting required (up to 20 lbs)
Must be able to wear/use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (i.e. medical face mask, Company supplied uniform and frock, hair net, beard net (if applicable), gloves, eye protection, safety shoes, and Tyvek if applicable).
