Production Support Technician - Markham, Canada - ICON Media Communications Inc.

Description

• Configure, provision and test various digital signage hardware specified in production tickets.
• Setup and configure network equipment such as modems, routers, and switches.
• Manage all hardware as designated by project managers.
• Communicate effectively with clients as well as thirdparty contractors.
• Stage, test and troubleshoot multimedia solutions at the ICON Media lab as well as onsite
• Track and resolve support trouble tickets
• Liaise with Project Managers and Field Technicians as required
• Able to lift 50lbs on occasion
• Perform inventory product counts
• Perform any related duties, or others as required

• Diploma in Network Administration, Computer Science or CompTIA N+.
• Prior experience in the digital signage field is an asset.
• Solid foundation in most recent Microsoft Windows OS
• Good understanding of network setup, IP configuration and router configuration
• Comfortable with using basic hand tools such as a hammer, wrench, screwdriver, etc.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and working at heights

• Proficient in effectively managing own time and schedule
• Organized, reliable and pays strong attention to detail
