    Description

    Shift:
    This position will provide a consistent full-time schedule - availability to work evenings and weekends will be required.

    In this role, you will work with our Production and Maintenance Team to perform the automation and preventative maintenance programs at our facilities, and work to ensure operation downtime is kept to a minimum along with routine production activities.

    Work with our Food Safety and Sanitation teams to ensure all automated equipment is meeting regulatory standards.
    # Perform preventive/predictive maintenance of Packaging equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals. Operate lifting devices like jacks, and walkies for moving film rolls, position machinery and parts (forming and sealing stations) during maintenance, installation, setup, and repair.
    # Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and power tools prior to installation.
    # Maintain & store department inventory, including consumables & keep records documented.
    # Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety.
    # Responsible for practicing and adhering to Hello Fresh policies and best practices.
    # Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 1 year operating machinery in a food processing, manufacturing or service industry.

    Language:
    Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
    Familiar with MS Office and/or Google Apps and comfortable learning new technologies.
    Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Certification is considered an asset.
