  • Position Summary:
  • As the Retail Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing retail and lease offerings for the Mercedes-Benz brand within the established standards. This person will exercise excellent judgment in the interpretation of the desirability of the individual credit risk. The incumbent will communicate the decisions effectively through explanations and will be responsible for selling the rationale for the decision to the dealers.

Responsibilities:


  • Using the ACE systems to review and analyze finance and lease credit offerings from dealers effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate all decisions (approvals, conditions or declines) to the dealers effectively. Isolate objections on challenging deals and communicate effectively by selling the rationale behind the decision.
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with dealers, Dealer Relation Managers, Discounters and other Retail Credit Analysts to foster a team environment committed to achieving department and company goals.
  • Work on assigned ad hoc projects relating to driving innovation and continuous improvements.

Qualifikationen:


  • Education and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • 13 years of experience in the captive finance industry with a focus on general business, collections, or finance.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience working in a similar role is preferred.

Areas of Knowledge:

  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and French is required.
  • General familiarity of business, collections, customer service and finance.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, analysis and PC skills.
  • Propensity to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrate a capacity to adapt to change quickly.
