Marketing Coordinator


Summary


Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will contribute to the success of the organization by providing a wide range of coordinating functions related to marketing and digital media.


The position will utilize attained experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, events, digital, and social media.

The selected marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work independently.


Responsibilities and Activities

  • Create and maintain content calendar
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, including a blog, ensuring consistent voice
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
  • Create compelling graphical images for digital purposes
  • Assist in the development of on and offsite workshops and events

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in marketing or communications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communications
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Must be a selfstarter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must have a high level of creativity
