    Location: North York, ON M9L 2R3

    Salary: $55,000 to $62,000 annually (To be negotiated)

    Hours: 40 hours per week

    Terms of employment: Permanent, full time

    Day Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

    Responsibilities

    1. Conduct studies to determine optimum inventory levels and utilization of machinery and resources.
    2. Develop performance standards.
    3. Draw facility's building equipment and major components.
    4. Evaluate or assess industrial facilities to ensure that all opportunities for improvement have been explored.
    5. Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes.
    6. Implement programs on the optimum inventory levels.
    7. Plan plant layouts and facilities.
    8. Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures.
    9. Analyze costs of production.
    10. Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs.
    11. Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities.
    12. Assess industrial facilities.
    13. Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards.
    14. Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
    15. Assess business opportunities and develop strategies.

    Experience and Specialization

    Computer and technology: AutoCAD, Computer-aided design (CAD), MS Office

    Area of Work Experience: Operations or production, Quality assurance control, Lean Manufacturing

    Area of Specialization: Process improvement, Production System, Time and Work Studies
