- Identifies documents and recommends opportunities for improvement in requirement definition, technical specification, procedures documentation and production change methodologies.

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma requiring 3-4 years of full-time study or have an equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Business Analyst certification is an asset
- 5 years' experience in business systems analysis and implementation, technology troubleshooting, system conversions, applications and maintenance and/or a combination of education and experience
- Experience in a financial institution is preferred
- Proven experience in overseeing design, development and implementation of software solutions, systems or products
- Proven experience in document management and retention
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and project management tools
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools such as Power BI is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communications skills
- Strong probable-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

What's the role?
As a Business Analyst - IT, you are responsible for performing strategic business analyses for the organization in support of corporate goals and objectives. As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. This position works closely with external vendors to ensure that the needs and requirements of Coastal Community are incorporated into the end product to meet the organizational objectives and strategic direction. To achieve this goal the Business Analyst - IT has a high level of interaction with managers and key stakeholders to ensure that business products and processes meet end users requirements.
