Title: Nurse in Charge
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time hours per week
Location: Tsay Key Dene Nursing Station
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About the role
As the Nurse in Charge, you will lead various nursing functions in a First Nations community, providing guidance to individuals, families, and community health teams. Your focus will include health promotion, disease prevention, and urgent care, among other aspects.

About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:

A bachelor's degree in nursing
Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
Must be Remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM
Completion of training in public health nursing or a related specialty
Valid Class 5 Driver's license and own vehicle
Understanding of First Nations cultural principles
Knowledge of nursing processes

You may possess experience in:

Primary care, disease prevention, urgent care, rehabilitation, and more
