The Provincial Resource Team Lead is a strategic member of the Project Services team who is responsible for assisting the Provincial Resource Manager in managing the allocation of resources across multiple projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.

Additionally, the role involves people and performance management by leading, developing, and mentoring the team members.


It is expected that a Provincial Resource Team Lead has a sound people management ability and proven understanding of the products and solutions that provides and can effectively support the Provincial Resource Manager and the department.

This role will require the ability to guide and influence team members to help ensure consistent service is being delivered.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, across multiple projects
  • Develop and implement resource management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the department
  • Communicate resource availability and allocation to project managers and stakeholders
  • Identify and manage resource conflicts and constraints
  • Track and report on resource utilization and performance
  • Work with the Project Management team and department leaders to ensure that resource requirements are understood and met
  • Continuously monitor and assess resource needs and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lead, develop and mentor the team members, ensuring that they are motivated, productive, and achieve their goals and objectives
  • Set performance targets, monitor, and evaluate the team member's performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback
  • Identify and manage any issues or concerns, and take appropriate action to resolve them
