We are currently looking for a _casual Production Technician to join us on an 18-month contract_
at our Hospital Compounding facility in Mississauga (2400 Skymark Avenue).

DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, Sterile Compounding Supervisor and/or Pharmacist in charge, the incumbent will efficiently maintain inventory, pick, decontaminate, visually inspect, label and pack all batches compounded at the Fresenius Kabi Hospital Compounding facility according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBR's).

QUALIFICATIONS

Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited postsecondary institution is an asset
Postsecondary education in science or related field
Minimum 12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
Must be able to understand and comply with standard operating procedures
Knowledge of GMP practices
Familiar with 5S processes and Lean Manufacturing Concepts
Must have the ability to work all shifts (i.e., morning and evening shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays) with excellent attendance record
Ability to work in a fastpaced work environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and productively as part of a team
Exceptional organization skills
Must possess problem solving skills
Strong verbal and communication skills
Strong work ethic and a respectful attitude
