The Toronto Grace Health Centre (TGHC) provides specialized care and services to individuals who require Complex Continuing Care, Post-Acute Care Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Wound Care, Respiratory Therapy, and Transitional & Remote Care.
The care and services provided at TGHC helps facilitate patient flow through the health care system and ensures recovery and supports their integration back into the community.
Desktop Technical Analyst
Status:
Full Time 6 month contract, Non-Union
***This position will require travel to all TGHC locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science or related discipline with minimum of 2 years' in a similar role required, preferably in a health care or broader public sector environment.
- Handson experience in a Windows Active Directory environment and be able to demonstrate applied knowledge of these skills.
- Experience in supporting a variety of PDA's, mobile electronic devices such as IPhones, Ipads and Microsoft surface tablets using MDM solutions (such as Maas360 or MS Intune or Endpoint Manager).
- Must have a thorough knowledge of current protocols/standards (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Ability to work independently and in a team with all levels of staff, management, vendors
- Must have the physical strength, flexibility and endurance required to perform the job tasks as needed.
- Must have basic computer networking skills and knowledge on Cisco L2 and L3 switches is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a methodical detail oriented approach to solutions.
- Good communication (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate effectively in a professional healthcare environment with technical, clinical, administrative and nontechnical interdisciplinary team members, management and outside vendors/consultants.
- Able to operate with mínimal supervision, manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor under stress.
- Willingness to learn new technology and grow within position.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint , Microsoft Exchange on premise and Exchange Online), Teams, Web Development, VMware (ESXi 5.5 +), Apple O/S (Mac OS X v10.
- Leopard +) would be considered an asset.
- Microsoft Desktop Support Technician certification or Microsoft Office 2013+ and A+/N+ certification considered an advantage.
