Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to manufacture photo-polymer plates.

All Flexo Plate Makers will be responsible for the making, finishing, and possible mounting of Flexographic printing plates in accordance with the timing and needs of our clients.

Night Shift:

3 days a week (Wed-Fri)
7 pm-7 am

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

Review job ticket instructions to determine requirement of job production.
Make, finish, and possibly mount printing plates correctly and in accordance with customer needs and timing.
Use all plate making equipment
Prepare files, run CDI, exposure, washout and finishing units. solvent based still, cutting table, various mounters, sewing.
Operate forklift it as necessary.
QC work performed in accordance with department SOP's.
Be responsible for keeping all work areas clean.
Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.

Competency Requirements

Basic computer literacy
Strong mechanical aptitude

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
This position requires the following knowledge and skills.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
13 years of photopolymer experience preferred
Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
Proofreading skills required
Ability to work independently after initial training
