Human Resources AssistantTrenergy is a 100 percent locally owned fabrication plant in St. Catharines, Ontario specializing in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, rail tank cars and more. We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to assist with high volume recruiting. This is a 6 month contract position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain job postings on applicable recruitment boards
- Conduct prescreen telephone interviews
- Maintain recruiting tracking spreadsheets
- Conduct face to face interviews
- Complete reference checks
- Schedule applicable skills evaluations, background checks, etc.
- Provides over all administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed
- Data entry of employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postsecondary Human Resources certification or in progress
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
Required experience:
- 1 to 3 years administrative experience
- 1 to 3 years recruiting experience
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
