PURPOSE


Reporting to the Manager of the Accessories Business Unit, the Product Manager's purpose is to lead the company's charge to be a dominant player in the accessory category.

The organization needs a great performer dedicated to managing all aspects of the CCM accessory business (briefs, offering, pricing, strategy, and go-to market).

It is a key role within the business unit's triad structure (design, development & product management).

The PM needs to be a well of knowledge in consumer insights, dealer dynamics, market trends and competitive intelligence, in order to directly impact upcoming product, and guide the product designers' and developers' efforts in innovation.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead individual insights gathering and be the central database for competitive intelligence.
  • Build a strong understanding of regional markets, strong retail network with a pointofview of dynamics that create success.
  • Evaluate and identify potential new market opportunities for CCM.
  • Guide designers and developers in the creation of accessory products by identifying consumer and dealer needs across different regions.
  • Head the pricing strategies of CCM accessories and navigate cost structures to optimize value for CCM, customers and consumers.
  • Analyze, identify and present different product line scenarios which capitalize on opportunities and maximize return for CCM's business plan.

  • Constantly review the Global SKU offering to decide where we can simplify, where we should set guardrails and where additions would be valuable
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related field; MBA or Master's Degree is an asset.
  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Strong writing skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously
  • Ability to influence and lead stakeholders
  • Experience working with diverse groups of people to manage and inspire change
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in both English and French.
