About the Dalhousie Student Union (DSU): The DSU represents the collective voice of over 18,000 students in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The DSU advocates for student rights, builds community on campus through events, supports over 300 societies, and provides focused services to foster a supportive and positive student experience.


Responsibilities:


Production Services Staff are responsible for a variety of duties associated with event support and the daily operation of the Student Union Building.

Working predominantly evenings and weekends, duties include live audio, show lighting, instructional media systems and general facility support services.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Dalhousie Student currently enrolled or will be enrolled for the Summer / Fall 2020 semesters.
  • Must be a team player and possess an attention for detail.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Previous experience would be considered an asset.

Reporting structure:

Reports directly to the Facility Operations Director
