    We're looking for a
    Claims Manager - Property Appraisal & Subrogation, to join our growing team

    As a
    Claims Manager, your claims experience and strive for excellence will help you successfully manage the day to day operations of our Property Appraisal & Subrogation team.

    Your passion for coaching, development and engagement will help strengthen team connections, keep everyone motivated to deliver second-to-none experiences for our customers and inspire people to go above and beyond in everything they do.

    **Manage the day to day operation of the Property Appraisal & Subrogation teams to ensure results produced meet team, department, corporate, Provincial and regulatory standards and goals; Provide technical oversight and guidance with a focus on indemnity and expense control, as well as, optimal customer experience

    • Work closely with the Director to develop strategies and long term/short term plans to facilitate ongoing work, process improvement, customer relations and other functions.
    • Monitor financial performance and productivity and report observations, progress and recommendations to key stakeholders.
    • Provide effective leadership, responsible for hiring and terminations, coaching and mentoring, performance management, continuous learning and career development for direct reports
    • Completion of monthly file reviews and audits, identify opportunities and develop action plans.
    **Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • A minimum of 5 years of management, coaching and mentoring experience preference is within a claims environment.
    • Technical expertise and practical knowledge of the restoration of damaged buildings.
    • Technical expertise with Xactimate is an asset
    • Strong negotiation, project management and problem solving skills
