Role Summary
Sonographer will be responsible for performing and evaluating the ultrasound examinations for various medical purposes. They will assist doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures and provide accurate diagnoses by reporting and reviewing findings. Sonographer will operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, actively contribute to team building, and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Role Responsibilities

In your position, you will report to the Lead Sonographer
Assisting the doctors in ultrasoundguided procedures such as Sonohysterogram, etc.
Performs and assess ultrasound examinations (Transabdominal and Transvaginal) for infertility patients, 1st trimester pregnancy evaluation, endovaginal scan, follicular monitoring, obstetrical scanning (early pregnancy), pelvic ultrasound for Gyn patients
Provides optimum patientcentered care and demonstrates a professional manner in the work setting.
Reports, reviews, and records findings of ultrasound scans to provide accurate patients diagnosis
Consults with physicians as needed about ultrasounds results
Operates and provides continuous maintenance of ultrasound equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests
Actively participates in team building concepts, and development of departmental goals
Must be able to work independently without supervision
Other duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications

Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent preferred
CMRITO certified
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning, sonohysterograms, endovaginal scans, follicular monitoring, early pregnancy obstetric scanning, and pelvic ultrasounds for gynecological patients.
Good judgment to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team is a must
Should have strong technical skills and image quality
Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
Excellent handeye coordination
Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
