We are a leading software developer and cloud-based syndicator of financial market information and streaming financial data solutions to media, corporations, online brokerages, and financial services companies. We have 120+ employees worldwide and revenues approaching $US20 million annually.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT Team.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Security Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our financial data distribution systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the assessment and implementation of cybersecurity controls across various business and engineering networks.
- Providing technical security requirements and recommendations for new IT and business projects.
- Collaborating with key personnel to lead security activities related to access management, security investigations, and data gathering and analysis.
- Aligning security procedures and standards with industry best practices, such as SOC2, NIST, and CIS.
- Supporting compliance efforts through documentation and remediation actions, and ensuring compliance is maintained postremediation.
- Managing incident response and proactively identifying and mitigating known security threats.
- Monitoring environments using SIEM, EDR, and other tools, and providing expertise on vulnerability management.
- Conducting and arranging external penetration testing.
- Performing risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats and developing mitigation plans.
- Working closely with other teams to ensure the security of our systems and data.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security. (preferred)
- CISSP or CISA or CISM or Security+ (Comp TIA) (preferred)
- Working experience with SIEM's and EDR products
- Working experience with Cloud security in environments such as AWS, GCP
- Working experience in incident response
- Experience delivering solutions requiring information security, privacy, and compliance
- Strong Problem-Solving, Organizational and Communication skills
Role Designation:
Full time remote until return to normal then a Hybrid 1-2 days in Office, Permanent
