We are a Nation-wide Group Benefits Managing General Agency (MGA) working in partnership with advisors and insurance carriers.

The client service team is the heart of our operation.

For new brokers, the service team members are the ones who make the first impression, and our warm, courteous and efficient response to their group needs is what fortifies our stellar reputation in the industry.

As an Account Manager at GroupQuest, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere as well as:


Coordinate:
with Account Executives for direction and broker communications while providing support for groups


Analyze:
with a "think outside the box" approach to solve problems and prepare proposals or alternatives to traditional and non-traditional employee benefits plans


Manage:
the submission and tracking of all MGA appointment letters, the submission of Agent of Record letters and the pending terminations due to minimum participation requirements


Impact:
as one of the first contacts for new brokers, you will be a first impression brand ambassador for GroupQuest
Grow - your skills and knowledge especially as it relates to the Group Benefits industry. GroupQuest is focused on helping people grow as individuals and professionals

  • 2+ years working Client focused with commitment for service excellence
  • 2+ years of experience in the group benefits industry
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet client and internal needs
  • Excellent reasoning, judgment and decisionmaking abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
  • GBA or CEBS designation considered an asset

This full time role requires mínimal lifting and working from a seated position for periods of time.

This role is typically performed in an office based environment which may be at GroupQuests head office located in Mississauga, a People Corporation work center in Canada or hybrid.
