Job Summary:

IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our expanding IT team and work in a growing, dynamic, high-tech manufacturing company.

As a System Administrator, you will help develop, maintain, and secure our global infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a flexible, driven, diligent worker that can analyze the environment both as a whole and in detail to provide necessary business systems and services to the organization that meet business objective and SLAs.

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain system configuration, and troubleshooting documentation as needed.

Review all policies and procedures and ensure they are being adhered toProactively troubleshoot and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and identify areas for continual improvementProvide all level IT support for local and remote sites and be available to support business IT needs off-hours.

Lead vulnerably mitigation and scheduled system patching cycles.

Actively claim, triage, and resolve IT tickets and contribute to the teams overall SLA matrixesConfigure, install, hardware upgrade and review infrastructure systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processesOversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices as neededParticipate in outage/incident bridge calls as neededHands on administrating infrastructure services including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, Server Deployment, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange and Office365, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup, SolarWinds, Mobile Iron, Okta any other duties assigned by the manager.

Monitors and analyzes infrastructure systems and business applications for advanced notification of potential issues and identify and recommend proactive resolutionsEnsures infrastructure systems and applications are compliant to meet the highest levels of security and data integrityCoordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionPerform installation and migration of systems and services at branch locationsFollow assigned project tasks and commit to timelinesProvide weekly status update on all assigned projects tasksRecognize roadblocks and work to resolve them before they impact schedules3+ years of experience in infrastructure support roles3+ years hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure or equivalent, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows, and Linux operating systems, Veeam, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, VMWare and Monitoring Tools.

SSL Certificates and Certificate AuthoritiesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentDemonstrate a strong understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with an ITSM toolExcellent hardware and software troubleshooting experienceStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detailProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong customer service orientation.

Ability to verbally communicate complex concepts and address sensitive situations, resolve conflicts, negotiate, motivate, and persuade othersExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentMigration from on-premises Exchange to Office 365Experience with SSO, specifically Okta and Azure AD SSOExperience with PowerShell scriptingKnowledge of networking configurations, installation, and maintenanceMerger and Acquisition experience Education & Certification:BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering a related subject or equivalent experience.

ITIL, Microsoft, and Cloud Certifications are a plus.
