Description

Position:

We are currently looking for a translation intern (French to English) to join our documentation and linguistic services team. During your

internship, you will have the opportunity to work with technical writers to translate various technical and non-technical documents. You will

participate in translating the online help, user guides, and other technical documents related to Croesus software, as well as various

communications published externally.

Main duties

Translate documents from French to English that relate to the features and operation of Croesus products.

- enhance the user experience.

Perform comparative reviews of texts translated into English or French.
Provide linguistic support to other teams in terms of translation, revision, and terminology.
Work in conjunction with the marketing team to translate and revise documents for external publication.
Any other related tasks.

Requirements:

Education and experience

University degree in translation in progress.
Certificate in editing or writing (asset).

Skills

Perfect bilingualism (French and English).
Good analytical skills and excellent communication and popularization skills.
Ability to work with style guides, such as the Microsoft Manual of Style, the Chicago Manual of Style, and the Guide du rédacteur.
Have an interest in and understanding of financial market terms.
Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and selfdirection.
Thorough knowledge of translation and terminology tools such as SDL Trados Studio and Multiterm, and writing and screen capture

software, such as Microsoft Word, MadCap Flare, and Snagit (assets).
