Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify market potential by qualifying accounts
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentations; understanding account requirements
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts
  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
  • Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; and identifying needs to be filled
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Develop relationships with contractors and builders
  • Deliver results with respect to sales targets and Margin targets
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience Team to schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and close sales.

Key Competencies:


  • Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must
  • Experience within the construction industry is highly desired
  • Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Verbal and Written communication,
  • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goals
  • Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must
  • 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales
