- Identify market potential by qualifying accounts
- Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentations; understanding account requirements
- Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explain product and service capabilities; overcome objections; prepare contracts
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
- Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts
- Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; and identifying needs to be filled
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Develop relationships with contractors and builders
- Deliver results with respect to sales targets and Margin targets
- Work closely with the Customer Experience Team to schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and close sales.
Key Competencies:
- Knowledge of insulation products and an understanding of the building envelope is a must
- Experience within the construction industry is highly desired
- Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Verbal and Written communication,
- Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goals
- Ambition and a thirst to learn is a must
- 2 to 5 years of experience with territory sales
