This is a Full-Time position as a superintendent for one of our office buildings. The office building is in the heart of the downtown at 366 King St E, Kingston, ON. You will be provided a dedicated parking spot.


Responsibilities:


  • Routinely conduct cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, hallways, and common areas in the building, both indoors and outdoors as needed.
  • Assisting trades by access to work areas, ensuring safe work is completed.
  • Collect and empty trash bins, adhering to waste management guidelines for proper disposal. Ensure that trash can liners are replaced as needed.
  • Ensure to wipe down surfaces such as door sills (all sides including top), hallway wainscotting, windowsills, and door handles to maintain a neat appearance and reduce the spread of germs and dust.
  • Adhere to floor care protocols and appropriate signage, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors. Promptly address spills, stains, or other potential hazards
  • Keep cleaning equipment like vacuums, mops, and dusters clean and in proper working order. Ensure building security by properly locking doors and windows upon completing cleaning tasks. Report any suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with the building manager to communicate maintenance or repair needs, safety concerns, or other buildingrelated issues.
  • Organize and prioritize cleaning tasks efficiently to ensure timely completion for all assigned buildings.
  • Being the face of Braebury, greeting visitors and tenants in a kind and friendly manner sets the tone for happiness and creates a kind, caring and healthy work environment.

Requirements:


  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to promptly address cleanliness issues, spills, and other potential hazards.
  • Must be responsible without direct to remove any hazards.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. As well as being able to lift and move objects over 30 pounds.
  • Must work in all weather conditions, be able to shovel snow, salt sidewalks, and carry salt bags to work areas.
  • Must make your ability to be at work a priority.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to adhere to assigned work schedules.
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, while also contributing positively as a team player
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet designated deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with occupants, visitors, colleagues, and tenants.
  • Must take great pride and responsibility for keep your building clean and safe.
  • Optional: WHMIS trained is an asset.
  • Optional: First aid and CPR are assists.
  • Optional: Must be able to travel to and from work without issues.
